1 cinnamon stick
-
1 tbsp dried chamomile flowers (or two organic chamomile tea bags)
-
1 tsp coriander seeds (lightly cracked)
-
3–4 fenugreek seeds
-
Boiling water
-
½ tsp raw honey (optional)

Add all herbs and spices to a mug or teapot, pour over boiling water and steep for around 10-15 minutes. Stir in 1 scoop of Correxiko Marine Collagen and honey if desired.
Why this calming drink offers sleep support and winter wellbeing
Every ingredient plays a targeted role in helping the body wind down, digest well and prepare for restorative sleep — all essential for winter health.
Peppermint – Digestive support + tension relief
Peppermint relaxes the digestive tract and eases discomfort or bloating after heavier winter meals. It also soothes muscle tension, which supports deeper relaxation before bed.
Chamomile – Sleep, stress and nervous-system support
Chamomile contains apigenin, a natural compound that binds to calming receptors in the brain. It helps reduce anxiety, promotes a sense of ease, and supports more restorative sleep.
Cinnamon – Blood sugar balance + warming circulation
Cinnamon naturally stabilises evening blood sugar, preventing dips and spikes that can disrupt sleep. It also supports circulation and provides comforting warmth.
Coriander seeds – Calming for digestion and the nervous system
Coriander seeds are traditionally used to settle the stomach, reduce gas and support calm digestion — especially helpful after rich winter foods.
Fenugreek seeds – Hormonal balance + digestive comfort
Fenugreek contains soluble fibre that supports healthy digestion and gentle hormonal balance, making it ideal as part of a nightly wind-down routine.
Raw honey – Soothing and grounding
A small amount of raw honey can calm the throat, add natural sweetness and support stable energy levels before bed.
Correxiko Marine Collagen – Overnight repair and renewal
Night-time is when the body repairs skin, joints, connective tissue and the gut lining. Collagen also contains the amino acid glycine, which helps support deeper sleep, so you wake up more rested and refreshed. Adding collagen to your evening routine can also support:
-
Skin hydration and elasticity
-
Joint comfort
-
Gut integrity
-
Smoother, more refreshed-looking skin
This blend becomes a soothing evening ritual that calms the mind and supports deep rest — something many of us need more of during winter.
Power Up Brew
Dr Dinuk’s Winter Immunity Collagen Infusion - A Simple Winter Ritual for Whole-Body Wellness
Ingredients
-
3–4 slices of fresh unwaxed lemon (with peel)
-
3–4 slices fresh ginger
-
A pinch of turmeric
-
A pinch of black pepper
-
1 tsp raw honey
-
Boiling water
How to make it
Add lemon, ginger, turmeric and black pepper to a mug, cover with boiling water and steep for 10 minutes. Stir in honey and Correxiko Marine Collagen. If you are suffering from a cough or cold, I suggest taking 1 - 2 capsules of Correxiko Raw Vitamin C alongside the drink. Vitamin C helps our skin stay radiant, but also helps us defend against viruses. Take one in the morning and one in the afternoon or evening. A steady supply of vitamin C helps us so much when the seasonal sniffles set in!
How each ingredient supports immunity and resilience
This warming infusion is rich in antioxidants, anti-inflammatory compounds and natural immune-boosting nutrients — making it the perfect morning or afternoon winter drink.
Lemon (with peel) – Natural vitamin C + bioflavonoids
Lemon peel contains higher levels of antioxidants and immune-supportive compounds than the juice alone. It helps:
-
Strengthen the immune response
-
Support detoxification
-
Boost antioxidant status
Ginger – Anti-inflammatory, warming and digestive support
Ginger improves circulation, reduces inflammation, soothes the digestive system and helps the body fight viral infections. Its warming quality makes it ideal for winter chills.
Turmeric – Anti-inflammatory and immune protective
Turmeric supports the body’s inflammatory response and strengthens natural immunity. Its key compound, curcumin, is activated when combined with black pepper.
Black pepper – Enhances turmeric absorption
Black pepper contains piperine, which boosts the absorption of curcumin by up to 2,000%, making this combination far more effective.
Raw honey – Antimicrobial + throat soothing
Raw honey supports immune defence, soothes the throat and provides natural energy without causing blood-sugar spikes.
Correxiko Marine Collagen – Gut and immune support
Around 70% of the immune system is located in the gut. Collagen peptides help:
-
Strengthen the gut lining
-
Support healthy digestion
-
Reduce inflammation
-
Promote smoother, clearer skin during the winter months
Correxiko Raw Vitamin C – Immune synergy + collagen activation
Taking Raw Vitamin C alongside this drink enhances collagen absorption while also boosting immunity.
It helps your body:
-
Fight off winter viruses
-
Support healthy skin and energy
-
Reduce inflammation and oxidative stress
This drink is uplifting, anti-inflammatory and energising — perfect for winter recovery, daily immune support and overall vitality.
